End of The Term

Hello Friends!! This is the final blog of the term and I will be rounding up my thoughts and give a final reflection.

I have always thought technology integration to be really useful towards learning English language because you can add so much more to the traditional learning methods with tools and gadgets but the most important addition to learning English comes to fruit when doing collaborative projects and the convenience of the review of the end product. For example, if you do a group project in the class, you can forget about the things discussed and materials used in the project can be insufficent as well but if the web and technological tools are used, all of those problems can be fixed and better the performance as well. For me, using technology when teaching English makes the learning experience for the student "enhanced".

Best task I have completed was the padlet beacuse it was simple yet effective, I could see the whole project in one page and it was done with the group exchanging ideas and showing different sides to the same problem. Worst one was the podcast. I would have liked the podcast to be done with the teacher and the whole class talking in one big podcast.

To improve the course, I would suggest that we could add translation of movies or tv series as a project. We all watch series in English or foreign languages and those translations might have came from the same people who took English Language Teaching in University. So it can be a good experience for all students to learn the tech and the process from the teacher as well.
